going green/eating well recession style...
the bananas were a success!
why plant more grass?
i am turning the sandpit into a fruit and veggie garden.
already on the list:
lemon, lime, tangerine trees
strawberries
green onions
carrots
arugula
broccoli
artichokes
and corn.....
later on in phase 2:
cucumbers
tomatoes
squash
watermelon
and...

WOW you're like Aunt Edna reincarnated! Lets see you kick those heels up and do a summersault. :) I did notice Lima Beans were missing from your list though...
Aunt Edna is my inspiration! However, I will not be planting anything nasty like lima beans or satan's little cabbages!
Any yummy ideas?? I'm thinking about blackberries in the areas that get only morning sun.
